Jay Cooke State Park Rapids

Jay Cooke State Park

One of the coolest things about Jay Cooke is all the rocks jutting out of the river. In a lot of places, you can climb out to the middle of the river on some rocky outcrop. It makes for a great sense of adventure, as well as some great photos. Too bad I have a crippling fear of climbing, water, heights, rocks, daylight, and molemen (with which Jay Cooke State Park is INFESTED)

  1. Hehe... come on now. Endangering yourself is part of the fun. You can avoid all the above fears yet get that sense of danger by walking around downtown minneapolis during a warm saturday evening talking photos of the night life with a big camera.

BTW, any idea what kind of bait would work for molemen?
